...and the first place i ever heard the name jonathan richman was in a sandman song. old sandman song: city of men. and then i discovered jr (via the song pablo picasso). and THEN i saw jr in the sandland of olympia wa, and was hooked. AND THEN(!!!) a vegan chocolate cake that i won at le voyeur trivia night got me into a jr show at the clipper (by giving it to jonathan, who happens to be vegan). i guess that's for the old olympians who happen to be reading. and even though i would've eventually found jonathan richman on my own, and loved him just the same, it was the rappin cowboy that brought him to my attention. the end
Here's a nice bit of trivia for you - Jonathan Richman met his wife Nicole in the house my wife and I live in here in Chico! In fact he wrote a song about it - 132 w. 21st Avenue. Jonathan and Nicole also found our dog Bill, a beautiful black labrador, running stray down by the Sacramento River. His full name is Billy Richman Howard.

my back is still tweaked, but i did get a good chiropractic adjustment yesterday, and i plan to head home tomorrow.
