I've begun reading The Da Vinci Code.

I just finished it... decent read but it was no more than the average mystery/crime novel. I was expecting more.

oh, man, what do you think of it?

I cracked it open for the first time in a laundromat in Portland, ME, and the guy pressing shirts at the counter called out from across the room:
"Hey! the DaVinci Code! Good book!"
"I've heard a lot about it." I said.
"Just remember, it's FICTION." He intoned, and he folded the shirt he was ironing, very serious now, and came out from behind the counter to lean over me. "And if you have any questions, you can come and ask me." And he proceeded to hand me a card, which explained that he was a priest. I didn't know what was more interesting, the premature verbal warning or the fact that I found a priest working in a laundromat. There was a reproduction of the last supper over the double-load dryers.

Lynn, that's a sweet story about the laundry priest!

I'll admit--I'm 1/2 done already which says a lot since I'm the slowest reader ever. It's pretty interesting I'd say.
